Timothy J. Smyth is a Junior Partner at the Firm, representing corporate and individual clients in civil litigation, including claims that involve automobile, premises and general liability. Attorney Smyth was defense counsel in Phoung Luc v. Wyndham Management Corp., 296 F.3d 85 (1st Cir. 2007), which was named one of “The ‘Biggest’ Defense Wins of the Past Year” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Attorney Smyth provides counsel to insurers regarding insurance coverage and analysis, and defends insurance companies accused of bad faith claim settlement practices. Attorney
Smyth also conducts fraud investigations with Special Investigation Units on behalf of automobile insurers.
Attorney Smyth regularly practices before state and federal courts. He has the unique combination of being both an experienced trial and appellate advocate for his clients. Attorney Smyth earned a J.D. from New England School of Law and a B.A. from Boston College. He was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1999.
