Maria Hickey Jacobson is a Partner of the Firm. Her practice is focused on civil litigation in state and federal courts where she represents individuals and corporations (both insureds and
self-insureds) in litigation involving serious personal injury and substantial property damage.
Attorney Jacobson has extensive experience handling the defense of state agencies and colleges. Her government experience, including tenures as an Assistant Attorney General
and Division Chief for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Deputy Regional Counsel for the Department of Social Services, and former prosecutor for the Office of the District Attorney – Middle District, provides practical insight to resolving disputes on behalf of her clients. Clients rely on Attorney Jacobson to provide advice and a strategic defense before trial and appellate courts, at arbitration proceedings, and in mediation sessions. In addition to her litigation practice, she also is responsible for Attorney Recruitment.
